Hitachi Seaside Park winter edition

Going to Hitachi Seaside Park is always a treat. Currently it is off season, which means that there are currently no flowers in bloom. The best times to visit the park are spring and autumn, with blue  Nemophilia flowers and the red Kochia bushes as the main attractions. You can still have a good time wandering around the grounds during the whole year, although with billing hot temperatures in summer it might not be much fun.
During the winter vacation you can pretty much see the park in a while new light. Only few people make the way out here, so it is by far less crowded than in the other months. Today the weather was cold but sunny and overall quite pleasant. It really was time for the last round of pork golf. Since it takes about an hour to go here by public transportation from Mito, not much else did we accomplish. We did ride Ferris Buehler’s wheel though. All in all it was quite an enjoyable day. I’ll leave you with a couple of impressions, before we make our way back to Mito station to see the force awakening in 4Dx.
